On December 18, 2023, the Minister of Communication and Information Technology issued a new regulation on the Technical Standards for Telecommunication Antenna Devices under KEP-MEN KOMINFO Number 601 of 2023. As a consequence, antennas now need to undergo type agreement certification.
Telecommunication antenna equipment covered by this regulation includes external antennas, whether installed or those using antenna connectors with cables or waveguide tubes.
