Jakarta, 03 October 2023 – Sharing Session #12 held by SDPPI on October 03, 2023 discussed the New Telecommunication Device SDPPI Certification Rates Regulation which carried out the discussion technique.
In this discussion, SDPPI further discussed the new regulation, Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 43 of 2023 concerning Types and Tariffs on Types of Non-Tax State Revenue Applicable to the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology. According to the information in the discussion, this new regulation will take effect in mid-November 2023.

The purpose of this tariff adjustment is to encourage the growth of domestic industries and test centers, protect the domestic market through MRAs, adjustment of customer index price calculations, elimination of revision fees, and certification processes with different levels of difficulty of the evaluation process. With the implementation of this new regulation on November 18, 2023, on November 17, 2023 SDPPI will not accept the submission of new certification applications due to entering the transition period of system preparation and will only accept SP2 payments. If an SP2 is issued between November 9-16, payment must be made no later than November 17, 2023, before the new tariff is applied. This is due to entering the transition period of system preparation.
